HVAC Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Serving Bozeman, Belgrade, Three Forks, Ennis, Big Sky, and Livingston
Our HVAC technicians provide AC maintenance, heating tune-ups, full-system services, and HVAC maintenance plans for homes and commercial buildings across the Gallatin Valley.
Routine service catches small problems before they turn into big ones, lowers your monthly energy bills, extends the life of your equipment, and keeps your manufacturer's warranty intact.
When to Schedule HVAC Maintenance
Schedule your heating system maintenance in the fall, before the first cold snap, and AC maintenance in the spring, before the summer heat sets in. A yearly visit for each system is the standard recommendation for most homes.
Equipment that runs year-round, like a heat pump, benefits from two visits a year, one in spring and one in fall.
Tune-Ups and Full-System Service
Need a one-time visit or want us to check that your equipment is working properly before the season starts? Choose between a standard tune-up and an in-depth full-system service.

HVAC Maintenance & Tune-Up FAQs
-
Most HVAC tune-ups take 1–1.5 hours, depending on the equipment type, system condition, and whether the technician finds anything that needs a closer look. Larger systems or multiple pieces of equipment may take longer.
-
Yes. Summit Air can maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits even if another company installed the equipment. The technician will inspect the system, check its condition, and let you know if any repairs or adjustments are recommended.
-
If our technician finds a worn part, safety concern, or repair issue during maintenance, they’ll explain what they found and provide an estimate for the recommended repair. Maintenance helps catch these problems early, but repair costs are separate from the tune-up or service visit.
-
Yes. Many manufacturers expect regular maintenance to keep warranty coverage valid. Routine service also helps catch installation issues, airflow problems, dirty components, or early wear before they create larger problems.
